Special Experiences & Visitors

From time to time, children are offered special experiences that gently enrich their days and connect them to the wider community.

These occasional experiences may include:

• Visits from community helpers, such as the fire truck or library truck

• Opportunities to interact with farm animals

• Special trips to the local library or visiting library services

• Virtual visits from Kookum and other community elders

• Career day experiences introducing community roles

• Observing and caring for life cycles, such as chicks or butterflies

All experiences are age-appropriate, optional, and thoughtfully guided, with the child’s comfort and curiosity always leading
