Welcome to the original kindergarten—the children’s garden. A place where children learn through play, often in nature. Micah’s Monkeys is a hybrid program piecing the aspects of dayhome and Forest School together, offering the comfort of our ‘homebase’ when needed alongside the many benefits of Forest School. It places nature and the child at play at the center of learning. Children are born with the desire to explore and experience everything, ask questions and learn by doing. I am here to observe and guide them, help them discover learning is fun, and help develop these little explorers into life long learners. I want every day to be an adventure! I assist your child in developing important values such as kindness, patience, leadership, responsibility, social/emotional skills, problem solving skills, good communication, and teamwork. Children are always fed nutritious homemade meals to help their bodies and brains grow and learn. We also grow a lot of our own organic food to eat year round, which the children help grow and harvest! In my home, I strive to help raise your children to be kind, caring, and compassionate humans. Every child is loved as my own. I want your family to feel as though they are part of my family, and our extended dayhome family.
